The committee make up is: Ops Manager/Training Manager – Matt Bailey MBE, Deputy Ops Manager/Vehicle & Equipment Manager – Vicky Brown, Finance Manager – Si Barr, Shift Manager – Steve Cann, PR/Fundraising Manager – Charlie Heron and Secretary/HR – Andy Thorpe. The positions will be held until the next AGM in 2024.
The trustee positions are now held by Scheme members Darren Shann (Chairman) and Sean Plant, East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) personnel Tony Mather and Annie Gray, and Civilian and former scheme responder Tracey Everitt. Trustees will now hold their posts for a 5-year period.
During the Ops Manger update, since the last AGM it was noted the scheme had achieved 290 shifts covering 21,500 miles while attending over 900 calls. During this time, we have volunteered 3700 clinical hours to EMAS with 550 new Observer hours recorded.
Along with various skills updates in the last year the scheme has also implemented a new recruitment process which has been extremely successful and has been adopted as best practice moving forward.
The previous 12 months has also seen a number of scheme members recognised externally for their continued commitment to the scheme, EMAS and the people of Lincolnshire, most notibly Matt Bailey being awarded a MBE.
Again, another monumental effort from everyone involved in maintaining our Operational output and we look forward to another successful year ahead!
