On Friday evening (16th June) our volunteers were the first EMAS asset to arrive on scene at an incident near Sleaford.
Arriving shortly after Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance our crew assisted with a complicated extraction. Working alongside Helimed 29’s doctor and Paramedic they utilised local resources to enable a safe and timely recovery of the patient ensuring no delay in treatment and transport to hospital.
This is a great example of inter-agency teamwork with Helimed, ourselves, EMAS and the Police all working in tandem to ensure the best possible outcome for the patient.
